Col 3:8 (a) The word here describes lewd language, contaminating conversation, “racy” stories, and all evil communications. (See 2Pe 2:7).
1Ti 3:3 (a) By this word we understand “tainted” money. This refers to money used for wrong purposes, or to obtain evil ends. (See also 1Ti 3:8; Tit 1:7, Tit 1:11; 1Pe 5:2).
Jud 1:8 (a) This is a figure of men who imagine evil things about GOD’s people to further their own lustful desires. (See Rev 22:11).
