Free (Or Free-Will) Offering

(, nedabah’, i.e., voluntar, as often), spoken of a spontaneous gift (Exo 35:29; Ezr 1:4; comp. 7), but chiefly of a voluntary sacrifice (Lev 22:23; Ezr 3:5; Eze 46:12; plur. 2Ch 31:14; Lev 23:38; Amo 4:5; fig. Psa 119:108), as opposed to one in consequence of a vow (), or in expiation of some offense. SEE THANK-OFFERING.
