a noted Methodist Episcopal minister, was born August 8, 1816. He was early converted, licensed to preach in 1829, and in the same year joined the Philadelphia Conference, in which and.. in the New York East Conference he occupied important positions, including several years occupied in teaching, until his sudden death, July 3, 1883.
