a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born in 1601. He studied at Jena and Wittenberg, was professor at Erfurt in 1633, court-preacher at Weimar in 1637, and died September 5, 1638, leaving, De Catholica Judaeorum Conversione: Epitome Hermeneutices ad S.
