Hugo of Potters
a monk of Vzelay, of whose life but little is known, flourished in the 12th century. He wrote a history of the monastery of Vzelay, which has been published by D’Achery in his Spicilegium, 3. He is also supposed by some to be the author of the Chronique des Colmtes de Nevers, inserted by Labbe in his Nouvelle Bibliothque des Manuscrits. He died about 1 161. fist.
