(Heb. Chuppah’, , a covering or bridal canopy, as in Psa 19:6; also protected, as in Isa 4:5; Sept. v.r. , and even ), the head of the thirteenth of the twenty-four classes into which David divided the priests (1Ch 24:13). B.C. 1014.
