(,Vulg. Gaddahel), the name of one of the heads of families of Solomon’s servants that returned from the captivity (1Es 5:33); evidently the GIDDEL SEE GIDDEL (q.v.) of the Heb. texts (Ezr 2:56; Neh 7:58).
