(Heb. Yekolyah’, , 2Ch 26:3, where the text erroneously has ; Auth. Vers. Jecholiah; in 2Ki 15:2, the paragogic form Yekolya’hu, , able through Jehovah; Sept. ; Josephus , Ant. 9:10,1; Vulg. Jechelia), a female of Jerusalem, mother of king Uzziah, and consequently wife of king Amaziah, whom she appears to have survived: her character may be inferred from the general piety of her son. B.C. 824-807.
