Jehoshua
je-hoshu-a (, yehoshua, Yahweh is deliverance, or is opulence): The usual Hebrew form of the name Joshua; it occurs in the King James Version of Num 13:16 (the American Standard Revised Version Hoshea); and in some editions of the King James Version in 1Ch 7:27, where others have the form Jehoshuah (h being wrongly added at the end).
