(Heb. Yeturm’, , prob. i.q. , an inclosure, i.e. nomadic camp; Sept. , , but in 1Ch 5:19), one of the twelve sons of Ishmael (Gen 25:15; 1Ch 1:31). B.C. post 2063. His name stands also for his descendants, the Ituroeans (1Ch 5:19), a people living east of the northern Jordan (Luk 3:1), where he appears to have settled. SEE ITURAEA.
