(only in the plur.), the rendering adopted in the A.V. of two Heb. names,

. (Lubbim’, Sept. ), Dan 11:43 (elsewhere written , “Lubim,” 2Ch 12:3; 2Ch 16:8; Nah 3:9; prob. i.q. “Lebabim.” Gen 10:13 1Ch 1:11) and (Put, Jer 46:9; Sept. ; elsewhere rendered “Libya,” Eze 30:5; Eze 38:5; “Phut,” or “Put”). SEE LIBYA.
