Liturgy of Addeus and Maris
Written in Syriac. It was the usual liturgy of the Nestorians, composed, according to tradition, in the 1st century, by Addeus and Maris, who evangelized Edessa and Seleucia-Ctesiphon. It is now used chiefly by the Nestorians of Kurdistan, and, purged of Nestorianism, by the Chaldean Uniats of Kurdistan and Malabar.
