an adjective denoting “of long duration, long-lived” (makros, “long,” chronos, “time”), is used in Eph 6:3, “(that thou mayest) live long,” lit., “(that thou mayest be) long-lived.” In the Sept., Exo 20:12; Deu 4:40; Deu 5:16; Deu 17:20.
