(only in the plural , lulaoth’, windings; Sept. (, Vulg. ansulae), an attachment or knotted “eye,” probably of cord, corresponding to the knobs or “taches” () in the edges of the curtains of the tabernacle for joining them into a continuous circuit, fifty to a curtain, and formed of blue material (Exo 26:4-5; Exo 26:10-11; Exo 36:11-12; Exo 36:17).
