(Heb. Masay’, , or, as it probably should be pointed, Maasay’, , worker, or perhaps contracted for Maaseiah; Sept. v.r. ; Vulg. Maasai), the son of Adiel, a descendant of Immer, and one of the priests resident at Jerusalem at or after the captivity (1Ch 9:12). B.C. prob. 536.
