Mizzah
(Heb. Mizzah’, , despair; Sept. , in Chronicles ), the last named of the four sons of Reuel, the son of Esau by Bashemath (Gen 36:13; 1Ch 1:37), and a petty chieftain of the Edomites (Gen 36:17). B.C. considerably post 1927. The settlements of his descendants are believed by Mr. Forster (Hist. Geog. of Arab. 2:55) to be indicated in the , or Phrat-Misan, at the head of the Persian Gulf.
