Moabitess
moab-t-es, mo-ab-tes (, mo’abhyah): A woman, or in plural women, of Moab. The term is applied to Ruth (Rth 1:22; Rth 2:2, Rth 2:6, Rth 2:21; Rth 4:5, Rth 4:10); to some of Solomon’s wives (1Ki 11:1); and to Shimrith, whose son shared in the murder of King Joash (2Ch 24:26). See MOAB.
