Mushi
(Heb. Mushi’, , once [1Ch 6:19] , receding; Sept. , , ), the second of the two sons of Merari, son of Levi (Exo 6:19; Num 3:20; 1Ch 6:19; 1Ch 6:47; 1Ch 23:21; 1Ch 24:26); he had three sons (1Ch 23:23; 1Ch 24:30), whose descendants were called in common MUSHITES (Num 3:33; Num 26:58). B.C. post 1856.
