(Heb. id. , aftash, as often; Sept. , , v. r. ), the fourth named of the children born to David in Jerusalem by other wives than Bath. sheba (1Ch 3:7; 1Ch 14:6). B.C. cir. 1040. He is not mentioned in 2 Samuel 5. SEE DAVID.
