Menche, Heinrich Gottlieb a Lutheran theologian of Germany, was born April 24, 1799. He studied at Marburg, entered the ministry in 1820, was pastor at Roddenau, Hanover, from 1851 to 1882, and died June 21, 1884, at Munden, doctor of theology. (B.P.)
