Mallard, Ernest Franois Born 4 February 1833 at Chteauneuf-sur-Cher, France ; died 6 July 1894. One of the pioneers in crystallography, particularly famed for his investigations on the physical properties of crystals, did valuable work on isomorphism and crystallographical instruments.
