Cawdrey, Daniel an English nonconforming divine, was educated at Peter-house, Cambridge, and ejected from his living of Dillinig, in Northamptonshire. He was a member of the Westminster Assembly of divines, and wrote, besides sermons and treatises, several violent philippics against the Established Church. He died in 1664.
