Peace, Prince of
A title of Christ in the prophecy of Isaias 9. The future Messianic kingdom would be characterized by peace; the same feature is dwelt on in Isaias, 11. The peace described in this passage will only be fully realized in the final form of the Messias’s kingdom, i.e., in heaven.
