[many Ped’ahzur] (Heb. Pedahtsur’, , preserved of the Rock; Sept. , ), the head of a family in the tribe of Manasseh; father of the Gamaliel who was appointed with others to aid Moses in numbering the people (Num 1:10; Num 2:20; Num 7:54; Num 7:59; Num 10:23). B.C. cir. 1657.
