(Honorius II) Antipope (1061 -1062 ), born near Verona, Italy ; died Parma, 1072 . Bishop of Parma, he was elected pope at the Diet of Basel in opposition to Alexander II , the lawful pope. He was excommunicated, 1063 , and deposed by the Council of Mantua, 1064 .
