an adverb signifying “under,” is used as a preposition and rendered “under” in Mar 6:11; Mar 7:28; Luk 8:16; Heb 2:8; Rev 5:3, Rev 5:13; Rev 6:9; Rev 12:1; “underneath” in Mat 22:44, RV (Mar 12:36 in some mss.); Joh 1:50, RV (AV, “under”).

the comparative degree of kato, “below, beneath,” occurs in Mat 2:16, “under.”

the neuter of the adjective elasson, “less,” is used adverbially in 1Ti 5:9, “under” (or “less than”). See LESS.
