(1Co 14:2; 1Co 14:4; 1Co 14:13-14; 1Co 14:19; 1Co 14:27) is a gloss of the A.V.; for the Greek has simply , a tongue, obviously meaning a different living language from that ordinarily employed by the speaker ( , Mar 16:17; Act 2:4).
