Walter, Johann Gottlob
a Protestant theologian of Germany, was born April 5, 1704, and died Nov. 16, 1782, as superintendent at Neustadtander-Orla. He is the author of Prima Gloria Clerogamiae Restitutce Luthero Vindicata (Neiustadlt, 1767). See Winer, Handbuch der theol. Lit. 1, 751. (B. P.)
