Wellspring
Wellspring
welspring (, makor): Usually spring or fountain (figuratively), translated wellspring only in two passages: Understanding is a wellspring of life unto him that hath it (Pro 16:22); The wellspring of wisdom is as a flowing brook (Pro 18:4). See Burroughs, Pepacton, p. 35; WELL.

Wellspring
Pro 16:22 (a) GOD gives a fertile brain and an understanding heart so that we may draw from it the needed help for every problem and need that arises. Of course, there are many who do not have such a mind, and therefore are of little value to society. (See also Pro 18:4).
