Wu lun
The five human relationships, “those between the father and the son, the ruler and subordinates, husbind and wife, the elder and the younger, and friends.” Also called the Five Constants (wu ch’ang). “Between father and son, there should be affection, between sovereign and ministers, there should be righteousness, between husband and wife, attention to their separate functions; between old and young, a proper order; and between friends, good faith (hsin).” (Mencius) — W.T.C.
