() is the technical term for an intermediate office in the Greek Church after Proton, Triton, Ekton, Ennaton; but omitted after Luchnikon and Hesperinon, Apodeipnon, Mesonuktion (matins), and Orthron (lauds). SEE CANONICAL HOURS.
