Carrying away

“a change of abode, or a carrying away by force” (meta, implying “change,” oikia, “a dwelling”), is used only of the carrying away to Babylon, Mat 1:11-12, Mat 1:17.

akin to A, is used of the removal of Abraham into Canaan, Act 7:4, and of the carrying into Babylon, Act 7:43.
