135. Christ’s “Coming Forths”

1. Prediction. “There shall come forth a rod out of Jesse” (Isa_11:1).

2. Incarnation. “I came forth from the Father” (Joh_16:28).

3. Humiliation. “Came Jesus forth wearing the crown of thorns” (Joh_19:5).

4. Crucifixion. “Bearing His Cross went forth” to “Golgotha, where they crucified Him” (Joh_19:17-18).

5. Revelation. “Come forth” (Lev_16:24; cf. Heb_9:28).

6. Compensation. “Will come forth and serve them” (Luk_12:37).

7. Opposition. “Jehovah shall go forth as a mighty man… He shall prevail against His enemies” (Isa_42:13).
