293. Dying Well

The reason why a child of God can die well is—

1. Because he knows Christ has died for his sins—1Co_15:3.

2. Given him eternal life—Joh_3:36.

3. God has made him beautiful in the Beloved—Eph_1:6.

4. Made meet for the inheritance of the saints in light—Col_1:12.

5. Begotten unto an incorruptible inheritance—1Pe_1:4.

6. Kept by the power of God for it—1Pe_1:5.

7. Christ has willed in His last will and testament that he shall enjoy the glory of it—Joh_17:24.
