1. A Lifeless State. Israel’s state of death described as “dry bones” and “very dry”—Eze_37:2, Eze_37:4.

2. A Living Saviour. “Root out of a dry ground” (Isa_53:2).

3. A Manifested Miracle. “Israelites passed over on dry ground” (Jos_3:17; Exo_14:16-29).

4. A Needy Saint. “My flesh longeth for thee in a dry and thirsty land” (Psa_63:1).
