335. Faith’s Obedience

“So Abram departed as the Lord had spoken” (Gen_12:4). He “got out” (Heb_11:8), and “removed into the land” (Act_7:4), and thus “obeyed.” We, too, obey the Lord when we “come out” of evil associations (2Co_6:17), and dwell in the fulness of the grace and love of God—Eph_3:19. Obedience to the Lord is proof of faith in Him. See what is said of those who “obeyed” the Lord.

3. Obedience is the Sway of Power—1Ch_29:23-25.

7. Obedience is the Stamp of Approval—Php_2:12.
