351. “Follow Me”

There are at least eight distinct instances where Christ gives command, “Follow Me,” and in these instances we have an eightfold call of Christ.

1. The call to salvation—Joh_1:43.

2. The call to concentration—Joh_21:19-22.

3. The call to separation—Mat_8:22.

4. The call to self-denial—Mat_16:24.

5. The call to consecration—Mat_19:21.

6. The call to imitation—Joh_12:26.

7. The call to service—Mat_4:19.

8. The call to Himself—Mat_9:9.
