472. “I Will Go”

1. Faith’s Decision. Ruth said to Naomi, “Whither thou goest, I will go” (Rth_1:16).

2. Love’s Decision. Rebekah said to her parents, when, asked if she would go with Eliezer to be the wife of Isaac, “I will go” (Gen_24:58).

3. Valour’s Decision. Deborah said to Barak, “I will surely go with thee” (Jdg_4:9).

4. Backslider’s Decision. Samson, when shorn of his strength, said, “I will go out, as at other times,” etc. (Jdg_16:20).

5. Fellowship’s Decision. Elisha responded to his young men, when asked to go with them, “I will go” (2Ki_6:3).

6. Witness’s Decision. David said, “I will go in the strength of the Lord God, I will make mention of Thy righteousness” (Psa_71:16).

7. Prodigal’s Decision. The prodigal, in his repentance, said, “I will arise, and go to my Father” (Luk_15:18).
