THE WORD OF GOD NO VAIN THING

Deu_32:47

I. What the Word Of God is Not. "It is not a vain thing."

1. Because its QUICKENING power is needed (Psa_119:5).

2. Because it has ILLUMINATING power (Psa_119:105).

3. Because of its IRRESISTIBLE power (Jer_23:29).

II. To Whom it is No Vain Thing. "It is no vain thing for you." For you who have heard and believed.

III. Why it is No Vain Thing. "Because it is your life."

1. It is the SOURCE of your life (1Pe_1:23-25).

2. It is the SUSTENANCE of your life (1Pe_2:2).

3. It is the STRENGTH of your life (Eph_6:17).
