0606. When the King Comes Back Man Will Be Physically Restored
When the King Comes Back Man Will Be Physically Restored
"There shall be no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that hath not filled his days: for the child shall die an hundred years old; but the sinner being an hundred years old shall be accursed" (Isa_65:20).
Recent years have marked a tremendous advance in the scientific treatment of diseases. The world is full of laboratories with their experimentations. The physician has spared no effort to relieve the needs of the physical man. When one marks the march of medical science, he is amazed. There are anesthetics and antiseptics; there is medication and sanitation; there is surgery and there is treatment; preventatives are prescribed and quarantines are demanded.
No one will discount the blessing achieved, and yet, in spite of it all, diseases still rage. New forms of world plagues and entirely new symptoms of old diseases baffle the skill of the medical fraternity.
Tuberculosis remains unconquered. The "Flu" sweeps away its tens of thousands, and hospitals are filled with the dying.
But when the King comes back, all will be changed. There shall be "no more thence an infant of days, nor an old man that has not fulfilled his years." A man will be a child at one hundred years and the days of "My people shall be as the days of a tree." Christ will bring health and cure and restore longevity to the race.
Why say ye not a word of the bringing back of the King?
Can there be praise,
And happy lays,
And every man fulfil his days,
Till Jesus comes?
No, but release,
Abundant peace,
Shall fill the earth, sickness will cease,
When Jesus comes.
