SALVATION OF THE LORD.

"The word of the Lord came unto Abram in a vision, saying, Fear not, I am thy shield, and thy exceeding great reward" (Gen_15:1).

This Salvation contains-

1. A revelation of grace. "The word of the Lord came." The "Word was made flesh and dwelt among us" (Joh_1:14).

2. A promise of shelter. "I am thy shield." A man shall be an hiding place.

3. An assurance of sufficiency. "I am thy exceeding great reward." "Whoso findeth Me findeth life" (Pro_8:35).

4. A word of comfort. "Fear not." "Perfect love casteth out fear" (1Jn_4:18). "Lo, I am with you alway" (Mat_28:20).
