616. Paul’s Manner
As Described in Acts 19 and Acts 20
His manner was bold or confident in tone, he spoke “boldly.”
1. Persistent in Repetition. “Three months” and “two years” (Act_20:8, Act_20:10).
2. Intolerant to Error. “Disputing” (Act_20:8).
3. Persuasive in Utterance. “Persuading” (Act_19:8-10).
4. Convincing in Argument. “Turned away” (Act_19:26).
5. Provocative in Declaration—Act_19:26-28.
6. Consistent in Testimony. “No cause whereby we may give account of this concourse” (Act_19:40).
7. Humble in Service. “With all humility” (Act_20:19).
8. Determined in Purpose—Act_20:24. Knowing how to do anything is half the service in doing it.
