738. “Sent Forth”
The word exapostello is rendered “sent forth,” “sent away,” “sent,” and “send.”
1. God “sent forth His Son” to the work of redemption (Gal_4:4-5).
2. God “sent forth the Spirit of His Son” to assure believers of their sonship (Gal_4:6).
3. The Lord “sent His angel” to deliver Peter (Act_12:11).
4. Paul was told by the Lord: “I will send thee far hence to the Gentiles” (Act_22:21).
5. The rich in themselves, the Lord hath “sent empty away” (Luk_1:53).
