1. The Word of God is the secret of power—1Jn_2:14.

2. Doing the will of God is the secret of continuance—1Jn_2:17.

3. Being born of God is the secret of holiness—1Jn_3:9.

4. The love of God is the secret of service—1Jn_3:16.

5. The presence of God is the secret of assurance—1Jn_3:19.

6. Faith in God is the secret of victory—1Jn_5:4.

7. The Spirit of God is the secret of discernment— 1Jn_4:6.
