755. “Shed”

1. Pursuit of the Sinner. “Their feet are swift to shed blood” (Rom_3:15).

2. Propitiation of the Saviour. “Blood… which is shed for many” (Mat_26:28).

3. Power of the Spirit.”He hath shed forth this” (Act_2:33).

4. Love of God in the Heart. “The love of God is shed abroad in our hearts,” etc. (Rom_5:5).

5. Supply of the Spirit. “Which He shed on us abundantly” (Tit_3:6).

6. Faithful Martyr. “The blood of Thy martyr Stephen was shed” (Act_22:20).
