NOT FAR FROM THE KINGDOM.

Mar_12:34.

1. What is the Kingdom of God? It is not meat and drink-Material things. It is "Righteousness, peace, joy in the Holy Ghost."

2. What is it to be Not Far from the Kingdom? Many are not far from the kingdom-

(1) As regards their knowledge. Young Ruler.

(2) As regards their morals. Pharisees.

(3) As regards their intentions. Foolish Virgins.

3. The Position of Those Not Far from It. Still outside. Ill. Cities of Refuge. Outside God’s righteousness, God’s peace, and God’s joy.
