854. Things of Christ in Ephesians

1. “The Blood of Christ” (Job_2:13). The Blood is the securer of all blessing, the cause of all victory, and the sanctifier to all devotion.

2. “The Mystery of Christ” (Job_3:4). “Mystery” means “secret,” and the “secret” is that all believers are one in Him.

3. “The Unsearchable Riches of Christ” (Job_3:8). There is a mine of wealth in Him, which is sufficient to meet all claims and needs.

4. “The Love of Christ” (Job_3:19). Christ’s love is a lake we cannot contain, and it is a fountain which utterly satisfies.

5. “The Body of Christ” (Job_4:12). The mystical body of Christ is composed of Christ as the Head, and members as a whole and in particular—see 1 Corinthians 12.

6. “The Fulness of Christ” (1Co_4:13). All fullness dwells in Him, so we can never lack anything if we abide in Him.

7. “The Kingdom of Christ” (1Co_5:5). The Kingdom of His grace—Col_1:13; and the Kingdom of His administration—Rev_11:15.
