2. The Epistle to the Ephesians

"Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, Who hath blessed us with all spiritual blessings in Heavenly places in Christ" (Eph_1:3).

The Book of Ephesians carries us past the Cross of Christ, past the risen Christ, and to the ascended and seated Christ. It is the Book which gives us all of our spiritual blessings in the Heavenlies. It is the Book which freely and fully shows to us how we may walk as children of the light, in love, worthy of our high calling, and pleasing Him in all things. Therefore, we call the Book of Ephesians the Epistle of the salvation from sin's power and dominion. It discovers to us the blessed results of the new life in Christ Jesus.
