Christ an Intercessory High Priest

"But this Man, because He continueth ever, hath an unchangeable priesthood.

"Wherefore He is able to save them to the uttermost, that come unto God by Him, seeing He ever liveth to make intercession for them" (Heb_7:24-25).

Another translation puts it this way: "Wherefore He is able to manage our affairs for us," etc.

Blessed fact! Our Judge is our Advocate, God hath committed all judgments unto the Son (see Joh_5:22). The One, therefore, Who judges us, is the One Who also pleads our cause. Surely we have grounds for solid peace.
