3. Christ Our High Priest Will Give Us Grace, in Our Time of Need

"Seeing then that we have a great High Priest, that is passed into the Heavens, Jesus the Son of God, let us hold fast our profession.

"Let us therefore come boldly * * that we may obtain mercy, and find grace to help in time of need" (Heb_4:14, Heb_4:16).

What is more assuring than the fact that there is One in Heaven, with the Father, Who has us in His heart; One Who watches over us and stands ready to supply all our needs. His promise of succor and of strength is sure. We shall never be snared by the fowler, if we look to Him. "There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful. Who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way of escape, that ye may be able to bear it" (1Co_10:13).
